CITIBANK has unveiled plans to turn its branch network into a retail distribution system after a successful trial of the concept in Booragoon.
Citibank’s six branches will be replaced with financial centres offering personalised retail banking and investment products from 3 April.
Citibank managing director Ron Bunker said the new generation Citibank Financial Invest-ment Centres were critical to the bank’s renewed focus on its core business.
“There has been a radical shift in the way customers deal with their banking requirements and what they want from banks,” Mr Bunker said.
The Citibank Financial Investment centres will offer investment advice including retail transaction accounts, insurance, superannuation and investment trusts.
