Perth-based IT company Cirrus Networks has been awarded a $2 million service contract with the University of Western Australia.

Perth-based IT company Cirrus Networks has been awarded a $2 million service contract with the University of Western Australia.

Under the contract, Cirrus will manage platforms, network, storage and back-up facilities within UWA’s data centres for an initial term of one year, with a one-year extension option.

Cirrus said the agreement provides for the management of data centre infrastructure to meet critical performance, business continuity and availability targets.

“Cirrus is excited to have been awarded this managed service contract through the WA team and to work with such a high quality globally recognised organisation,” managing director Matt Sullivan said.
