The scope of work includes civil and concrete works for the Kings Valley and Firetail processing facilities at Solomon, totalling in excess of 30,000 cubic metres of concrete.
Final terms and conditions of the contract are beign negotiated.
Cimeco has previously worked with Fortescue at Solomon, completing a $200 million engineering, procurement and construction contract for the crushing plant at Solomon.
“The company is looking forward to continuing the mutually beneficial relationship with Fortescue and is appreciative of the confidence Fortescue continues to show in Cimeco’s capabilities for its expansion project,” Forge managing director Peter Hutchison said in a statement.
At 9:45AM WST, Forge stocks were up 4 per cent, trading at $6.76.
