Chevron has reportedly secured Asian customers for the bulk of the liquefied natural gas supply from its $50 billion Gorgon project.
Reuters has reported that the oil and gas major has entered into non-binding heads of agreements with three utility companies from Japan and South Korea.
A company spokeswoman told Reuters the supply deals equated to around 70 per cent of Gorgon's LNG supply.

A final investment decision on Gorgon is expected to be made in the coming months.
