Change at helm of ChemCentre

ChemCentre has appointed Peter McCafferty chief executive.

Mr McCafferty was previously director of ChemCentre’s scientific services division, a role which he served in for 15 years.

He joined ChemCentre in 1992 after prior work in the private sector, which included roles with Wesfarmers CSBP, Genalysis and WMC Resources.

Mr McCafferty replaces outgoing chief executive Peter Millington, who has retired after leading the statutory body since 2009.
