Centre sold

Bullcreek Shopping Cen-tre, owned by the Government Employees Superannuation Board has been sold by tender for $51 million to Schroders Property fund, keeping ownership in Australian hands.

The 16,500 square metre centre was purchased by the GESB in 1983. In 1996 the centre underwent a $5 million refurbishment and extension.

Colliers Jardine director of sales, Jeff Braddock, said the interest in the shopping centre reflected a change in investor attitude towards retail assets and there remains a positive outlook in regards to future retail growth.
