Cash Converters to raise $5m

Cash Converters International will raise up to $5 million that will be used to buy franchised stores and increase the capacity of its loan book.

The company said it will issue up to 12.5 million shares at a slight discount of 40 cents each institutional and sophisticated clients of Hartleys.

Shares in Cash Converters closed unchanged at 41.5 cents today.
