Capp joins Commonwealth Business Council

Former Business News 40under40 winner Sally Capp has been appointed to the board of the Commonwealth Business Council.

Ms Capp, an experienced lawyer who has held senior positions in banking and government, will assist with boosting the council's membership across Australasia and the surrounding area.

She currently serves as regional development director for KPMG, based in Melbourne. 

Ms Capp said she was looking forward to growing the organisation's presence in the region.

"I have a particular interest and experience in trade and investment, stakeholder engagement, working with governments, and taking strategy to implementation, all of which will be part of the work that as director of the Commonwealth Business Council I will be involved with," she said.

Ms Capp was a 40under40 winner in 2002 as chief executive of listed investment firm Australian Heritage Group.

She is also a former managing director of the Committee for Melbourne.
