Property developer Mirvac’s former Western Australian chief executive, Evan Campbell, will step down from the company at the end of the month after a consolidation of the group’s operations.
Mirvac sent out an internal communication to its employees today detailing Mr Campbell’s resignation, following a decision to merge the company’s resource partnerships division into its residential and commercial product lines.
Mr Campbell was appointed chief executive of Mirvac WA in 2006.
He was promoted to the role of national general manager of resource partnerships in February last year, focusing on building accommodation solutions for the resources sector.
Mirvac chief executive development and group strategy Brett Draffen paid tribute to Mr Campbell for his 21 years of service, which commenced in 1992 with his recruitment as a trainee development manager.
Mr Campbell was instrumental in the 2001 acquisition of Perth business Fini Group and moved to Perth as development director as part of Mirvac Fini.
