Call centre incentive for WA

THE State Government Industry Incentive Scheme can support businesses choosing to locate their call centre in WA.

For approved projects, the Government offers tailored assistance including workforce recruitment and training cost rebates.

Other assistance includes infrastructure support, including ‘fast tracking’ for site approvals, deferment of local government rates, supply of services such as landscaping and car parking and the installation of communications and equipment and support services.

Direct financial assistance is also available in the form of a capital grant or a concessional loan.

The Government can provide site establishment assistance for approved projects, including a government loan to assist with the purchase of land or to build, own or occupy a purpose-built building.

Eligibility for Government assistance is based on detailed criteria including longer term viability and net economic benefits to the state. Further information is available from the WA Department of Commerce and Trade.
