After nearly a decade on King Street, CHANEL has relocated its boutique to what has been marketed as the CBD’s new luxury precinct at Raine Square.
The new 700-square-metre store is housed by the heritage-listed Wentworth Building, situated on at 300 Murray Street in Perth's CBD.
It is the global fashion house’s first combined fashion, fragrance and beauty boutique.
Charter Hall head of office partnerships and Raine Square fund manager Miriam Patterson said the store’s opening marked the completion of its $60 million redevelopment of the centre into a high-end retail precinct.
“CHANEL’s grand opening is another significant milestone for Raine Square,” Ms Patterson said.
“When Charter Hall purchased Raine Square in 2013, it was with the understanding that the redevelopment needed to be agile and responsive to the needs of the community.”
She said the move firmly cemented the precinct’s position as the home of premium local and international brands in Perth’s CBD.
In relocating, CHANEL joins a cohort of luxury retailers including Louis Vuitton, Watches of Switzerland, Tiffany & Co, Kailis Jewellery.
CHANEL’s King Street boutique, which opened on December 12 2012, closed its doors on Sunday June 5.
