The WA state director of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia Robin McClellan is leaving the organisation to take up a position with ExxonMobil.
The Acting Chief Executive of CEDA Peter Fitzgerald said Ms McClellan had been a great asset to the organisation, extending CEDA's reach and presence in WA into senior government and business circles.
"She has been a respected contributor to critical WA issues and her international experience and knowledge have been an asset to CEDA nationally," Mr Fitzgerald said.
Ms McClellan will finish up with CEDA on November 24.
Mr Fitzgerald said that there would be an external search to replace Ms McClennan.
Until her successor is found, Hamilton Calder will be acting WA state director in addition to his role as SA/NT state director.
