Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, in association with Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC), is holding an economic update breakfast seminar, March 15 at the CCI Function Centre in East Perth. Presented by two experienced economic commentators, this seminar will provide an overview of current and future economic environments and discuss what impact this will have on the export industry. EFIC’s chief economist Roger Donnelly will investigate some potential setbacks in the economy, how probable they are and their consequent effect on the export industry. He will look at issues such as resource nationalism, bird flu, the Iran nuclear issue and the outlook for resource investors in Africa. CCI chief executive John Langoulant will then provide attendees with an overview of the current economic trends for WA and prospects moving forward. He will particularly focus on the contribution of our export sector to the state’s economic wellbeing both now and in the future. Registration costs $55. For more information contact CCI on 9365 7500 or email email@example.com.
