State Opposition leader Troy Buswell has sacked the former Liberal leader Paul Omodei from the Liberal party shadow cabinet.
Despite saying he would be quitting the front bench over a week ago, Mr Omodei told Mr Buswell he was reconsidering that decision.
Mr Buswell said Mr Omodei's comments last week regarding his leadership were unacceptable.
Last week, before the party meeting that decided the fate of Mr Buswell, Mr Omodei said there was "much more to come of these issues", whilst warning that the Liberal party would "die the death of a thoasnd cuts" if Mr Buswell retained his leadership.
