The future of Troy Buswell is in doubt after Liberal leader Colin Barnett refused to say if the former opposition leader will be included in the cabinet if the party is elected.
The future of Troy Buswell is in doubt after Liberal leader Colin Barnett refused to say if the former opposition leader will be included in the cabinet if the party is elected.
ABC radio reported Mr Barnett as saying that shadow attorney general Christian Porter would definitely be included in the cabinet, but did not say if Mr Buswell will be selected as treasurer or take a place in cabinet.
Mr Barnett's refusal to comment follows a chaotic past six months for Mr Buswell, who stepped down from the leadership position earlier this month.
The state election will be held on September 6.
