Business evolution on track at L7 Solutions

Perth-based professional services company, L7 Solutions, was established by Matt Sullivan and started trading in March 2004.

During the past 30 months the business has evolved into three professional services businesses, each with strong market penetration in the Western Australian corporate and government communities, and each with its own mission and objectives.

L7 Advisory assists clients to address and resolve concerns in a variety of areas, including business continuity and disaster recovery, IT infrastructure library, process control and mapping.

L7 Managed Services includes service desk, priority and proactive support, server and desktop support, monitoring and reporting and hosted exchange.

L7 Integrated Services is the interface between the end client and the vendor and is made up of the technical and project management delivery teams.

Since inception, L7 has transacted close to 200 unique clients and traded with 50 regular suppliers.

Staffing levels have increased from two to 43 full-time employees, two part-time resources, and an extensive pool of specialised contractors.

L7’s current key clients include Burswood International Resort, Toyota WA, CBH, Wesfarmers Energy, Wesfarmers Insurance Division and Department of Housing and Works.

The company’s turnover has increased from $271,000 in 2003-2004 to almost $6 million in 2005-2006, with forecast turnover expected to almost double in the next financial year.

L7 has achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status in less than two years, Cisco Silver partner status, CommVault CIP and Enterprise solutions partner, Citrix Silver Solutions partner and EMC Solutions and Authorised Service Network partner.

In a first for a WA company, L7 was awarded the 2005 ANZ Cisco Commercial Partner of the Year for the Australia/New Zealand region at the Cisco Global Summit in San Diego, California, earlier this year.
