THE Stirlings Shopping Centre in Bunbury has been sold for $11.5 million in an off-market transaction to a syndicate of private local buyers, realising a yield of just 7.2 per cent. Adjoining the Centrepoint Shopping Centre, the Stirlings Shopping Centre has approximately 5,966 square metres of nett lettable area and is currently home to discount stores Crazy Clarks, Best & Less and Priceline plus a further 32 specialty stores. Colliers International director commercial sales Ian Mickle said there continued to be an extremely strong interest in retail assets all over the state and the low-yield sale represented a strong faith in the growth potential of the Bunbury region.
