WA builders are being invited by the state government to bid to construct display homes in Broome.
The 10-house display village is to be situated on prominent lots on the main entry into the new housing estate.
"As the demand for housing in Broome continues to increase, this is an outstanding opportunity for a builder to showcase their product in an estate that will eventually house about 13,000 people," said Lands Minister Brendon Grylls.
"Broome North will provide approximately 4,800 lots over 20 years, and ultimately double the size of Broome."
Mr Grylls said participation within the display village would enable builders to take advantage of a significant number of lots currently under construction as well as in future stages.
"LandCorp will be offering 50 lots, exclusively for house and land packages, which will be fairly distributed between successful builders while taking into account their construction capacity."
