Browne heads new family law practice at Lavan

Lavan Legal has appointed Framy Browne as lead partner of its newly established family law practice.

Ms Browne joins the firm from Paterson & Dowding Family Lawyers, where she was a partner for six years.

Lavan has also appointed Derek La Ferla as a partner in corporate services, and an advisory board member.

Mr La Ferla joins Lavan from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was national leader of the corporate advisory team and the infrastructure, mining and commodities industry group.

He is also chairman of Sandfire Resources, OTOC and Cashmere Iron.
