FIVE Bayswater brothers continued helping create more magical moments for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation when they took part in the Autumn River Festival Be Active Walk For A Wish.
For the third year in a row 13 year old Patrick Shannon and his brothers Mark (11), Greg (10), Tony (8) and Tim (5) entered the walk.
This time they did it dressed in costumes inspired by the movie Brother Bear.
They "paddled" around the paths of the six kilometre fundraisng walk in their own hand-crafted canoe on March 28. The boys’ efforts will help raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non profit organisation that grants wishes to children with a life threatening illness.
Since its inception in 1985, Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 3,300 wishes nationally to young people under the age of 18.
