Bristow Helicopters Australia has been awarded a contract worth $50 million to support Apache Energy's drilling and production operations in WA.
Bristow will initially provide five helicopters based mainly out of Karratha and Varanus Island.
The helicopters include BK-117, Sikorsky S-76 and Eurocopter AS332 with options to take other helicopters type within Bristow's Australian fleet.
Bristow has a three year contract with options for extension.
'We are delighted to further develop our relationship with Apache," said director of Bristow's Australian Business Unit, Allan Blake.
"We have been providing helicopters for Apache operations for many years.
"This new three year contract for all of Apache's helicopter requirements in Australia is testimony to the service our staff have delivered to support Apache's developing Australian operations."
