Brewers gets logo

DESIGN Control is the company behind The WA Brewers Association logo that was launched at WA Beer Week.

The logo will be used on all official correspondence and will also appear on stickers supplied to hotels.

WABA represents the interests of Western Australian microbreweries and its new logo is expected to generate consumer awareness for pubs that serve at least one microbrewed beer.

According to WABA secretary Jenni Stallwood, consumers should support the pubs with WABA signage.

“The WABA logo will also be used as a sign of quality assurance.  Anybody wanting to use the symbol will need to be given approval and standards [regarding beer quality] must be met.”
