Mr Mullins who is also Australian Insurance Institute president said there was pressure in some large firms to charge insurance clients at rates equivalent to those being charged to corporate and commercial clients.
“Insurance companies just don’t accept this,” Mr Mullins said.
“We are aware of a major firm in the eastern states who ignored their insurance practice and are now solely regretting it.”
