THE corporate headquarters of textbook, stationery and art supplier Bookland is for sale by tender through Chesterton International.
The relatively new 2,455 square metre building located on a 3,957 square metre site at 190 Stirling Street, Perth has a nine year lease to run with Bookland.
Chesterton International commercial sales director Robert Perman said the building had won two categories of the 1999 National Building Design Awards.
“It is an absolutely prime position in a strong growth area and it is offered with a long lease to a blue chip tenant at a rental of $414,750 a year net,” Mr Perman said.
Chesterton is also offering an adjoining 1,506 square metre site with development approval at 178 Stirling Street.
Together there is more than 5,400 square metres of commercial land with three street frontages.
“We anticipate strong demand because prime properties like this don’t come up often,” Mr Perman said.
The value of the property is estimated to be between $4 million and $5 million.
