Board Moves September 4, 2019

Aidan Platel, chief executive of Auroch Minerals, has been appointed managing director. Mr  Platel was a consultant to the company in 2017 before taking on the role of chief executive in June 2018. Auroch has also appointed Chris Hansen as non-executive director, with both Adam Santa Maria and Ryan Gaffney stepping down from the board.

Galan Lithium has appointed South American-based Daniel Schuster as an independent non-executive director. Mr  Schuster is a civil industrial engineer and spent 28 years in Santiago, Chile with a leading lithium company listed on the New York and Santiago Stock Exchanges. He has been a leading consultant to the lithium industry focusing on market intelligence, forecasting and lithium business strategy.

Peter Schwarz has joined the board of Oilex as an independent non-executive director. UK-based Mr  Schwarz is a certified petroleum geologist and business development professional with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Tempus Resources has appointed current director Brendan Borg as managing director. Since joining the board in April 2018, Mr  Borg played a key role in the selection of the BlackdomeElizabeth Gold Project in Canada, and the Zamora Gold Projects in Ecuador, as well as exploration on other Australian projects.

Trek Metals has entered into an Earn-in Agreement with Apollo Minerals on the Kroussou Project, and has made some changes to the board. Managing director Brad Drabsch and non-executive director Sonja Neame have resigned, and John Young has been appointed non-executive director. Mr  Young is a highly experienced geologist who has worked on exploration and production projects encompassing gold, uranium and specialty metals including tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and lithium.
