Family Zone Cyber Safety has appointed Sir Peter Westmacott GCMG LVO as a non-executive director. Sir Peter is a distinguished senior British diplomat who has been a British Ambassador to Turkey, France and the US.
Gascoyne Resources has appointed Ian Murray a non-executive chair and Mark Le Messurier a non-executive director, as the company aims to become Australia’s newest gold producer. Mr Murray is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been involved in gold mining and exploration since 1997. Mr Le Messurier is a highly regarded MBA-qualified mining engineer with 35 years of experience in the mining industry. Mike Joyce will step down as chair but remains on the board as non-executive director. Gascoyne’s long serving directors Graham Riley and Stanley Macdonald have brought forward their intended retirements to facilitate the two new appointments as part of the board’s renewal process.
Geoff Ward has been appointed chief executive of Hazer Group. Mr Ward is a senior executive and business leader with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas, resources and renewable energy sectors.
Simon Francis has been appointed non-executive chair of High Grade Metals, replacing Steve Formica who has retired as chair but remains on the board as non-executive director. Adrien Wing has also become non-executive director and company secretary following the retirement of David Palumbo from those roles. Mr Palumbo will remain as company secretary until December 1.
David Kelly has resigned as non-executive director of Ironbark Zinc, after serving on the board for more than a decade.
Karen O'Neill has been appointed chief financial officer and joint company secretary of Kingsrose Mining. Ms O’Neill is an experienced finance professional, company secretary and commercial manager with operational and executive experience across a variety of industries including resources, investment banking and professional services. She had worked in Europe, Africa, Oceania and Australia.
Peter Christie has been appointed non-executive chair of Mount Ridley Mines. Mr Christie is a qualified accountant and tax agent with over 25 years of public accounting experience. He replaces Michael Pedley who has resigned from the role.
