Leigh Ryan has resigned as managing director of Alchemy Resources following his appointment as managing director of Horizon Gold. Mr Ryan joined Alchemy in January 2017 and will remain in the role until the end of the year. He will commence with Horizon Gold no later than January 1 during which James Sullivan will revert to the role of a non-executive director.
Euroz has appointed Ian Parker and Richard Simpson (chair and corporate finance director of Hartleys respectively) as non-executive directors. Mr Parker has extensive knowledge in financial planning and investment advice, specifically equities and options trading. Mr Simpson has extensive corporate finance, advisory and equity capital market experience gained through a number of senior Australian and international corporate finance positions.
Daniel Madden will succeed Keith Smith as chief executive of Joyce Corporation following the company’s AGM in November. Mr Madden was managing director and chief executive of ASX-listed Talisman Mining for over 4 years and held senior management roles in ASX-listed and multinational organisations for 10 years.
Current non-executive director Steve Brockhurst has replaced David McEntaggart as company secretary of Kingwest Resources. Mr McEntaggart will remain with the company in an accounting and compliance role, as a consultant through Mining Corporate.
Sandra Dodds has joined the board of MACA as an independent non-executive director. Ms Dodds has diverse and extensive global executive experience in operations, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate services. Andrew Edwards, non-executive chair since October 2010, is retiring from the board at the upcoming AGM and will be succeeded by current non-executive director Geoff Baker.
