Board Moves October 23, 2023

Iceni Gold has appointed James Pearse as non-executive director, replacing Hayley McNamara who has stepped down after 2.5 years on the board. Mr Pearse is a corporate lawyer with over 10 years of experience working for national, international and boutique law firms; advising Australian businesses mainly in the mining, oil & gas and technology sectors.

Henian Chen will be retiring as non-executive director of Prospect Resources at the upcoming AGM on 23 November. Mr Chen has been on the board since November 2017. Simone Sun, alternate director for Mr Chen, will also step down from the board.

Riedel Resources has appointed corporate lawyers Maddison Cramer and Marie Forsyth as joint company secretaries, replacing Susan Field who remains a chief financial officer.

Vital Metals has formally appointed Richard Crookes as non-executive chair, and Lara Iacusso as chief financial officer. Mr Crookes has been on the board since August 2022, and as interim non-executive chair since February 2023. Ms Iacusso is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial advisory services within Australia and overseas, and across a wide range of industries including mining and exploration. She specialises in providing financial advisory services to emerging companies, and has experience working with companies who have operations in multiple jurisdictions.

Andrew Cunningham, chief executive of Walkabout Resources since April 2021, has been appointed managing director.
