Board Moves October 16, 2023

Peter Prendiville has become the company secretary of Agrimin and its subsidiaries, replacing Alec Pismiris who remains a non-executive director. Mr Prendiville is a corporate lawyer with significant experience in capital markets and ASX compliance matters. He has also been a general counsel of the company since April 2021.

David Wheeler is no longer an alternate director for Amanda Reid at Frontier Energy.

George Karageorge has resigned as managing director of Iceni Gold. He was recently appointed to the role in September 2023.

Perenti has appointed Diane Smith-Gander AO and Andrea Sutton as non-executive directors. They were both on the board of DDH1, with Ms Smith-Gander as chair, and has been appointed to Perenti following its acquisition and the implementation of the DDH1 scheme of arrangement early this month. Both Ms Smith-Gander and Ms Sutton have significant skills and expertise across a range of industries including mining, finance, banking, technology and consulting.

Sovereign Metals has appointed current general manager for Africa Frank Eagar as managing director and chief executive from 20 October, with Dr Julian Stephens transitioning from managing director to a non-executive director. Mr Eagar is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of corporate, commercial and technical experience in the financing, permitting, development and operation of mining projects, with a strong focus in southern Africa. Since joining the company in December 2022 and based in Malawi, he has already expanded the team with a focus on Malawian nationals, developed strong relationships with the Government, and has a clear understanding of the Kasiya Project and its development landscape. He takes over from Dr Stephens, who has been at the helm since June 2016, and as the company progresses from the Pre-Feasibility Study stage into the next phase of project optimisation, community and stakeholder engagements.

Vital Metals has appointed seasoned mining sector professional Dr Geordie Mark as managing director and chief executive. Based in Canada, Dr Mark has over 25 years of diversified global experience across the resources sector and commodities, including over 15 years of involvement in natural resource-related equities on both the buy and sell side.
