Board Moves November 22, 2019

EganStreet Resources was involved in an off-market takeover bid by Silver Lake Resources and as a result, there have been changes to its board structure with resignations from non-executive chair Barry Sullivan, executive director Lindsay Franker, and non-executive directors Simon Eley and Hedley Widdup. Silver Lake has appointed its chair David Quinlivan and managing director Luke Tonkin to the board of EganStreet.

Poseidon Nickel has appointed Derek La Ferla as non-executive chair, and Peter Harold as managing director and chief executive. Mr  La Ferla has 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and company director, and will commence with Poseidon in December. Mr  Harold, founder and long-serving managing director of Panoramic Resources, will commence in March 2020 with David Riekie remaining an interim chief executive until then.

MaoFeng Ding has resigned as non-executive director of Siburan Resources.

Les Davis has resigned from the board of Silver Lake Resources.  Mr  Davis was the inaugural managing director from 2007 and non-executive director from November 2014.

Syndicated Metals has appointed Brad Drabsch and Toby Wellman as managing director and executive technical director respectively. Mr  Drabsch is a highly experienced mining executive and geologist who has worked in a wide range of commodities and roles globally. Mr  Wellman has over 19 years of experience across exploration, development and production geology with exposure to varied mineralisation styles and commodities including gold, copper, lead, zinc, lithium and cobalt. The appointments are part of the company’s strategic re-positioning to advance gold exploration in Western Australia. As part of the change, David Morgan will step down as managing director but remains on the board as non-executive director; and long-serving non-executive director, Robert Cooper, will resign from the board to focus on his role as chief executive of Round Oak Minerals.
