Atrum Coal has appointed Andrew Caruso as chief executive, replacing managing director and chief executive Max Wang who has transitioned out of the business following completion of the successful Elan Project Scoping Study. Mr Caruso is a qualified mining engineer with almost 30 years of global mining experience, especially in bulk commodity projects.
HongLiang Chen has resigned as non-executive director of AVZ Minerals. Mr Chen is a nominee of the Huayou Cobalt Group and was appointed to the board following the completion of a placement in August 2017 which provided early support to the Manono Project.
Mike Grey has resigned as non-executive director of Hazer Group. He joined the board in April 2019 as a nominee of Mineral Resources where he holds the role of chief operating officer for its mining services division.
Paul Ferrara has accepted a voluntary redundancy and has resigned as executive director of Threat Protect Australia. Mr Ferrara is a co-founder of the company. Further to the cost cutting initiative announced in March 2020, the company is now shifting its focus on consolidation.
