Gary Powell has been appointed non-executive director of Alloy Resources. Mr Powell has over 35 years of experience in exploration, development and mining within Australia and Asia. His appointment follows the resignation of Allan Kelly as non-executive director.
Blackham Resources has made some changes to its board and senior management team as part of its strategy to streamline costs and improve operational performance and cashflow. Bryan Dixon has stepped down as chief executive and managing director after 13 years, current executive chair Milan Jerkovic will take over the daily management of the company until a new chief executive has been appointed, Richard Boffey has resigned as chief operating officer and will leave the company at the end of May, and Guy Simpson will move from his role as general manager of Wiluna Operations to general manager of operations and planning.
Flemming Bjoernslev has been appointed executive director of CFOAM. Mr Bjoernslev spent 30 years in the chemical industry in Europe, Latin America and the US. Current non-executive director Toby Chandler has resigned from the board and will assume an operational role as executive vice president of strategic business.
Philippa Leggat is the new chief executive of Comet Resources. Ms Leggat is a mineral industry executive with almost 20 years of experience including over 8 years as an executive, director and advisor to ASX-listed companies engaged in capital raising, exploration, development and project evaluation. Anthony Cooper has stepped down as managing director.
Hawkstone Mining has appointed Dr David Deak as an advisor to the board and managing director. Dr Deak has over 10 years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage and electric vehicles. He established and grew Tesla’s supply chain for lithium and other battery materials.
Craig Hall has been appointed non-executive director of Horseshoe Metals. Mr Hall has over 30 years of minerals industry experience in exploration, development and production roles in a range of commodities, principally precious and base metals. His appointment follows the resignation of Michael Fotios as non-executive chair.
Michael Spreadborough has stepped down as managing director and chief executive of Nusantara. Greg Foulis will transition from a non-executive to an executive chair.
Redbank Copper has appointed Alan Still as non-executive director, following the resignation of Michael Fotios as executive chair. Mr Still is a metallurgist with over 40 years of experience in a variety of commodities.
Alex Passmore has been appointed managing director of Rox Resources. Mr Passmore has been the company’s chief executive since February.
John Richards has been appointed non-executive director of Saracen Mineral Holdings. Mr Richards is an economist with over 35 years of experience in the resources industry, including holding strategy and business development positions in mining companies.
Dr Paul Dalgleish has been appointed a business advisor of Tempo Australia. He will assist the board with reviewing business operations as required.
