Board Moves March 26, 2020

Mark Bolton has been appointed to the board of Oilex, becoming executive director from 1 April. Mr  Bolton has been a member of the executive team, as chief financial officer and company secretary, since 2016.

Podium Minerals has made some changes to its management structure following the turmoil in global markets and the need to significantly reduce its ongoing costs of running the company and maintaining its tenements. Major shareholder Clayton Dodd will transition from non-executive chair to an executive chair, Tom Stynes will step down as chief executive but continues to manage the company’s operations, and Grant Osborne has resigned as non-executive director but is available on a consulting basis as and when required.

Jani Surjan has resigned as chief financial officer and joint company secretary of Schrole.

Torian Resources has appointed Louie Simens as non-executive chair. Mr  Simens has over a decade of experience in micro-cap equities and startup investing. Prior to entering the junior resources sector, he owned and operated a successful civil and building construction business.

James Allchurch will join the board of Winchester Energy as non-executive director in April, following the resignation of non-executive director and former chair John Kopcheff at the end of the month. Mr  Allchurch is a geologist with extensive experience in listed resource companies, in the identification and assessment of resource projects, as well as exploration and resource development. He also has considerable knowledge of the company, having provided corporate and investor services to Winchester since late 2016 and assisting with company development, capital raisings and investor relations. Mr  Kopcheff, who has served on the board since 2017, will continue his association with the company as a technical advisor.
