Wayne Bramwell has been appointed to the newly created role of chief executive at Artemis Resources and will be responsible for bringing its Radio Hill Operations back into production. Mr Bramwell is an experienced metallurgist and mining executive with over 26 years of international and Australian project development expertise across the base metals, precious metals and bulk commodity sectors.
Paul Arndt has been appointed non-executive director of Myanmar Metals. He is the nominated representative of Perilya, the largest shareholder of Myanmar Metals. Mr Arndt was appointed Perilya’s executive general manager of operations and development in February 2008 and promoted to managing director and chief executive in November 2008.
Frontier Resources has appointed Fei Peng, Fenix Dong and Anthony Hickey as non-executive directors. Mr Peng has more than 20 years of investment management experience including corporate advisory, financial restructuring advisory, strategic planning and capital markets advisory in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US. Mr Dong has extensive mergers and acquisition, investment banking, and management consultant experience in the mining and resources sector across the Asia Pacific region including mining exploration and processing companies listed on the ASX as well as public and private companies in China, Hong Kong and Mongolia. Mr Hickey is the founder and chair of Hickey Lawyers. He was a founding partner of one of Gold Coast’s largest legal firms, Rapp Hickey Morgan Power, before establishing his own firm in 1993.
