Sonu Cheema has been appointed non-executive director of Affinity Energy and Health. Mr Cheema is a director at Cicero Corporate Services and has over 10 years of experience working with public and private companies in Australia and abroad. The company also advises that Malcolm James has resigned as executive chair and managing director. He has served on the board since 2013.
Craig Barnes has been appointed chief financial officer of Galena Mining. Mr Barnes has over 20 years of experience in senior finance and financial management within the mining and financial services industries. Galena’s joint-venture subsidiary Abra Mining has also appointed engineer John Blower as project manager and qualified lawyer Jude Turton as commercial manager for its Abra Base Metals Project.
Shannon Green is the new managing director of Lindian Resources. Mr Green has over 20 years of resource development and mining operations experience, having managed several world-class resource project developments and mines. Steve Formica, having served on the board since 2014, has resigned as non-executive director.
MacPhersons Resources is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intermin Resources. This has resulted in some changes to its boards. Intermin has appointed Jeffrey Williams and Ashok Parekh as non-executive directors, and Peter Hunt has resigned from the board. MacPhersons Resources has appointed Peter Bilbe and Jonathan Price as non-executive directors, and Peter Rozenauers has resigned from the board. Bianca Taveira has replaced Stephen Hewitt-Dutton as company secretary of MacPhersons.
