Hedley Widdup has stepped down as non-executive director of Kasbah Resources. Mr Widdup was a representative of the African Lion Fund which has a strategic 13% interest in Kasbah.
MGC Pharmaceuticals has appointed global neurology and epilepsy expert Associate Professor Wendyl D'Souza to its medical advisory board. He will lead the research and development projects into medicinal cannabis treatments for epilepsy and other neurological disorders within Australia and globally.
Mathew Whyte has been appointed company secretary of Tiger Resources. Mr Whyte has more than 25 years of experience in company secretarial, financial and administrative roles across a range of industries and operations within Australia and overseas. He replaces Narelle Warren who has resigned from the role.
Maciej Sciazko has been appointed non-executive director of Ironbark Zinc. He was appointed as a nominee of Nyrstar NV, one of the world’s largest zinc metal producers, where he is the vice president of mining operations and is responsible for its mining and milling operations in Canada. His appointment follows the resignation of Kelly Strong who has accepted another role outside of Nyrstar.
Douglas Buerger has retired as non-executive director of Marenica Energy. Mr Buerger joined the board in 2010 and was chair from 2014 to early 2018.
Nicholas Ong has been appointed non-executive chair of Black Star Petroleum. Mr Ong has been involved with listed junior oil & gas exploration companies with projects in United States, Australia and Africa. Chin Han Tan has stepped down as chair but will remain on the board as non-executive director.
