Avita Medical has expanded its management team in the commercial, legal and medical affairs functions to support the planned US launch of the RECELL® Autologous Cell Harvesting Device in the treatment of burns. The company has appointed Donna Shiroma as general counsel, Terry Bromley as vice president of commercial operations, and Debbie Garner as vice president of global marketing. Ms Shiroma has over 20 years of legal and compliance experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and has played an instrumental role in transitioning companies from clinical to commercial entities. Mr Bromley has led sales and marketing operations for a number of medical products, and Ms Garner was executive marketing director for the medical dermatology franchise at Allergan where she also led global pipeline and business development for aesthetic and therapeutic dermatology products. Avita has also promoted Dr Katie Bush from a director to vice president of medical affairs.
