Paul Atherley has resigned as managing director and chief executive of Berkeley Energia after 4 years at the helm. Current non-executive director Robert Behets will become acting managing director. The company is focusing on construction of the Salamanca mine and will be setting up its head office in Madrid, and will ultimately seek to recruit a suitably qualified Spanish national for the managing director and chief executive role. Current chief operations officer Francisco Bellon Del Rosal will assist Mr Behets with matters in Spain.
Toby Hicks has joined the board of DigitalX as non-executive chair. He replaces Peter Rubinstein who has stepped down as chair but remains a non-executive director. Mr Hicks, a partner of Steinepreis Paganin, has been a corporate lawyer advising public companies for over 15 years. He was formerly a director of the company from August 2016 to September 2018.
Tempo Australia has appointed Dr Paul Dalgleish as chief executive and William Howard as chief financial officer and company secretary, both effective from mid-July. Dr Dalgleish has been acting as an advisor to the company since April 2019 and has over 30 years of experience including 15 years as chief executive of public-listed engineering companies. Mr Howard is a qualified accountant and was chief financial officer of a financial services company in Sydney for the past 3 years.
