Mark McConnell and Andrew Stott have been appointed non-executive directors of Adveritas. Both are highly experienced in the global technology and media sectors. Mr Stott has been a consultant to the company since August 2018, helping to implement its expansion strategy through partnerships with internationally-based customers and partners.
Eric Hughes has joined Birimian as chief financial officer and company secretary. Mr Hughes has more than 20 years of experience in senior finance executive roles with ASX-listed resource companies.
Global Energy Ventures (GEV) has appointed Martin Carolan as chief financial officer and executive director, corporate and finance from April. Mr Carolan has a 13-year career in the financial markets and extensive experience in providing corporate advisory and capital raising services to a large number of small-cap ASX companies. Current executive director Garry Triglavcanin will also take on the role of chief development officer and Bill Hornaday joins the company as president of Global Gas Ventures, a subsidiary of GEV. Mr Hornaday served as executive and non-executive director for several public and private energy companies, and has been an advisor of GEV prior to this appointment.
Lindsay Ward has resigned as non-executive director of Metro Mining due to his appointment as board member of another listed public company. Mr Ward has been with the company since October 2011.
