Scott Waddell has resigned as chief financial officer and company secretary of Metro Mining. Duane Woodbury has been appointed interim chief financial officer and Amy Treble takes over as company secretary in addition to her role as financial controller. Mr Woodbury joined Metro Mining in January 2017 with responsibility for managing the debt and equity raisings required to ensure the Bauxite Hills Mine was fully funded to production. Ms Treble has been Metro Mining’s financial controller and assistant company secretary since January 2015.
Alison Laws has been appointed chief executive of Resonance Health. Ms Laws has significant commercial experience and joined Resonance Health over a year ago, initially as a research consultant before becoming global account manager and business development officer.
Tap Oil has appointed current non-executive director Chris Newton as chair.
Current chief executive of XRF Scientific, Vance Stazzonelli, has been appointed managing director. His appointment strengthens the board and adds balance by providing executive representation, which is a benefit during the company’s current growth phase.
Liza Carpene has resigned as company secretary of Northern Star Resources. She has been with the company since 2013. Hilary Macdonald, Northern Star’s general counsel, has been appointed interim company secretary.
Orinoco Gold has appointed Sophie Raven as company secretary, following the departure of Joel Ives.
