Tony Chong has been appointed as non-executive chairman of TV2U Worldwide. Mr Chong is a corporate and tax lawyer and also serves as the lead partner of Lavan Legal’s corporate services group.
Yasmin Broughton has been appointed general counsel and company secretary at Wellard. Ms Broughton is also a non-executive director of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia and Edge Employment Solutions, general counsel and company secretary of Atlas Iron. She has acted as general counsel and company secretary for a number of ASX listed industrial, utility and mining companies.
As a result of the above appointment, Greg Wheeler will resign as company secretary but will continue in his role as an executive director of the company.
Teck Siong Wong has been appointed as a non-executive director to the board of Tungsten Mining. Mr Wong serves as an alternate director on the board of GWR Group and a director on the board of West Peak Iron.
Atmavireshwar Sthapak has been appointed as an executive director of Alara Resources. Mr Sthapak was appointed non-executive director in September 2015. He has previously held various technical and senior management roles with Rio Tinto.
Nathan Butler has resigned as a company secretary of National Australia Bank. Louise Thomson continues to be the group company secretary of NAB.
