Board Moves December 27, 2019

Anglo Australian Resources has made changes to its board and management structure following a settlement of legal proceedings involving the company and a number of its shareholders. Leigh Warnick has been appointed chair and Marc Ducler as managing director with John Jones, Peter Stern and David Varcoe on the reconstituted board. Graeme Smith, Andrew Barclay and Matt Hardisty have agreed to step down as directors. Mr  Warnick is an experienced corporate and mining lawyer, and a recognised expert in corporate governance. Mr  Ducler is a highly experienced mining executive who had held senior operational roles including as managing director of Egan Street Resources and led the company through a successful listing on the ASX.

Following the acquisition of Wildcat Resources, Fraser Range Metals has appointed Matthew Banks and Alexander Hewlett as executive director and non-executive director respectively. Zane Lewis has resigned as non-executive director but remains a company secretary.

Galileo Mining has advised of the sudden passing of non-executive chair Simon Jenkins. Mr  Jenkins was involved in the 2018 public listing of the company. Brad Underwood, current managing director, will be appointed interim chair; and company secretary Mathew Whyte will join the board as non-executive director.

Mark Strizek has been appointed executive director of Tietto Minerals effective January 2020. Mr  Strizek has been a non-executive director of Tietto since July 2017 and will drive the growth of the company’s gold resources across its projects including the high-grade Abujar Gold Project.
