Kin Mining has appointed current chief executive Andrew Munckton as managing director. The company also announces the resignation of Joe Graziano as company secretary, a position he has held since the company’s incorporation. Mr Graziano will remain on the board as non-executive director. Chief financial officer Stephen Jones will also assume the role of company secretary.
Robert Dennis has been appointed chief executive and managing director of Poseidon Nickel. Mr Dennis is a non-executive director of the company and was formerly the chief operating officer before leaving in 2014 to become chief operating officer at Independence Group NL.
Steve Tombs has retired as general manager of Red 5. He will be succeeded by mining manager Brendon Shadlow, who has over 20 years of experience across a range of commodities including 15 years specialising in underground mining.
Blackham Resources has appointed Geoff Jones as non-executive director following the resignation of Greg Miles after nearly 7 years serving on the board, initially as executive director before transitioning to a non-executive role. Mr Jones is a civil engineer with over 30 years of experience in construction, engineering, mineral processing and project development in Australia and overseas.
Gavin Ryan has joined the board of Carnarvon Petroleum as non-executive director. Mr Ryan is a lawyer with extensive legal and commercial skills in oil and gas gained through an international career with BHP Petroleum, BP, PTTEP and Shell.
Prospect Resources has made several appointments as it is actively developing the Arcadia Mine. Trevor Barnard has been appointed project manager with the opportunity for the role to progress to general manager, Nixon Mugwadhi has been appointed mining manager, and Malcolm Titley is in-charge of Grade Control. Mr Mugwadhi has been involved in establishing starter mines and will primarily focus on grade control, blast and fragmentation of the lithium bearing minerals, and efficiency of mining. Mr Titley has over 36 years of mine operation, resource estimation and grade control experience. He will focus on integration of process plant, production geology and mine management.
Piedmont Lithium has appointed Jeff Armstrong as independent non-executive director, replacing Mark Pearce who will step down from the role. Mr Armstrong resides in North Carolina, is actively engaged in the community, and has extensive relationships with major corporations and entrepreneurs. He is the chief executive and managing partner of North Inlet Advisors LLC, a firm providing strategic and financial advice to companies on capital formation, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and other corporate transactions.
Dale Hanna has resigned as company secretary of Helix Resources, with Benjamin Donovan taking over the role. Mr Donovan is an experienced company secretary and has extensive experience in listing rules compliance and corporate governance, having served as a senior adviser at the Australian Securities Exchange in Perth.
Johnson Huang has resigned as non-executive director of Wolf Petroleum.
Joanna Kiernan has been appointed joint company secretary of Tawana Resources, replacing Claire O'Brien who has resigned from the role but remains as an executive assistant.
