Nicholas Clark has retired as executive director, strategy at Alexium International Group to focus on his young family in the US following the unexpected loss of his wife last year. Mr Clark will also be stepping down from all public and community roles.
Neil Hutchison has been appointed executive director, technical of Castillo Copper. Mr Hutchison has been general manager, geology of Poseidon Nickel since 2007 and will continue his role there at a reduced capacity, alternating his time between Poseidon and Castillo. The company has appointed Alan Armstrong as executive director, and he will work closely with Mr Hutchison to progress the company’s business plan. Joe Graziano and Nicole Fernandes have resigned as non-executive directors.
Brian Levet has been appointed non-executive director of Gold Road Resources. Mr Levet spent 27 years at Newmont Mining, retiring in 2011 as group executive for exploration.
Steven Schapera joins the board of OBJ as non-executive director. Based in London, Mr Schapera founded the successful BECCA cosmetic brand, commercialising it into a range of cosmetic products that were distributed throughout Europe, Asia and North America. BECCA was recently sold to Estee Lauder for more than US$230 million.
