Board Moves April 29, 2019

Richard Cottee has been appointed non-executive chair of Elixir Petroleum. Originally a lawyer, Mr  Cottee spent the vast majority of his career in senior executive roles, including as chief executive, within the energy industry. Ray Barnes, who served as chair since December 2014, has retired from the board.

Okapi Resources has promoted Michael Montgomery from technical general manager to technical director. Mr  Montgomery joined the company in January 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in due diligence, exploration, mining and JORC compliance including time spent working in Africa and DRC. The company has also appointed Leonard Math as joint company secretary.

Albert Cheok has been appointed a non-executive director of Peppermint Innovation. Mr  Cheok is the chair of PEGG Capital, which has equity investment in the company. He has more than 40 years of banking experience within the Asia-Pacific region.

Ian Lynass has resigned as chief executive and managing director of Tempo Australia. He remains a director during this three-month notice period until a new chief executive has been appointed. Current chair Guido Belgiorno-Nettis AM will take on the role of executive chair in the interim.
