Brett Fraser has been appointed non-executive director of Sundance Resources. Mr Fraser has more than 30 years of experience in the finance and securities industries, as well as extensive experience in corporate, commercial and business transactions in the public and private sectors.
Dr Wayne Best, current non-executive chair of Nanollose, will transition to a full-time executive chair role as the company enters a new phase of commercialisation and development. Dr Best will increase his involvement across research and development which will help accelerate the development and commercialisation of its technology. Dr Best will also transition from managing director to chair of Epichem, a company he co-founded in 2003.
Following the transition of Dr Wayne Best from managing director to chair of Epichem, the company has appointed Dr Martine Keenan, head of discovery services, as the new chief executive. Dr Keenan joined Epichem in 2008 and as the head of discovery services, she has built an international reputation for drug discovery in infectious diseases with over 35 scientific publications and patents.
William Johnson has joined the board of Yowie Group as non-executive director. Mr Johnson is a highly experienced public company director and a 30-year business career spanning multiple industries and countries.
Michael Stewart has resigned as non-executive chair of SUDA Pharmaceuticals. For the past 9 years, Mr Stewart has played an integral part in repositioning SUDA and dealing with a range of legacy issues inherited by the company. Over the past few years, Mr Stewart has been under tremendous pressure after his wife unexpectedly suffered a spinal stroke that has left her wheelchair bound. He now needs to turn his full attention to supporting his wife as they both come to terms with the full impact of what has occurred.
Alex Passmore has joined Aspire Mining as non-executive director. He has a diverse financial and technical background in the resource industry and held senior positions in both the institutional debt financing and equity capital market arenas.
Primary Gold has appointed JiYe Yang and WenBin Tang as non-executive directors. It follows the announcement that HGM Resources, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hanking Australia Investment, has declared its takeover offer for all of the shares in Primary Gold to be unconditional and thus is entitled to nominate directors to represent a majority on the board.
