Food distributor Blue Cow Cheese has been placed into administration, with Cor Cordis’s Jeremy Nipps and Clifford Rocke appointed as administrators.

Blue Cow Cheese was established in 1998 by Nicholas Bath and is based in Belmont.

Mr Bath worked in fromageries throughout London in the early 1990s, before returning to Perth to establish the company.

Blue Cow primarily supplies cheeses, but its product range included yoghurt, milk, pâté, antipasto, dips, pastries, biscuits, pasta and ready-made meals.

Gemma Maher serves as the company’s business development manager, and Robyn Bellis as its purchasing manager, according to Blue Cow’s website.

The first creditors meeting will be on July 5 at the offices of Cor Cordis.
