On February 3, the Hyatt Hotel will re-open the jewell in its fine dining crown – Gershwin’s. A three-course set menu will become a standard feature as will monthly promotions highlighting, in detail, different standouts of the state’s food and wine map.

The restaurant will also feature a special six-course degustation menu in the next month.

After the success of its Vintage Blues Music Festival, which attracted more than 400 people, Wignalls Winery in Albany is staging another outdoor event.

The dynamic winery, in conjunction with the Perth International Arts Festival, is hosting the grand opening of the festival in the Great Southern.

On  February 17, international opera singers and WA choirs will present ‘the spirit of Mozart’.

Mount Barker producer Goundry Wines has been named the exclusive wine sponsor of WA’s newest sporting team, the Western Force.

Almost 20,000 spectators were at Subiaco Oval last Saturday night for a practice match.

The overwhelming support was no doubt welcomed by Goundry, which has secured special Western Force promotional advantages for its supporters as well as access to the team’s membership, which now stands at more than 19,000.

The Leeuwin Concert Series is once again descending onto Margaret River with another impressive line up to mark the 22nd year of the production.

Such is the pull of the concert series that John Butler Trio has been persuaded to weave in a performance at Leeuwin on January 28 as part of its national tour.

Leeuwin Estate will also play host to the more classically themed Amici Forever and Jane Rutter, on Saturday February 25 with a repeat performance on Sunday February 26.
