Big pay day for Andean directors

Andean Resources directors Warren Gilmour and Ian Hume have pocketed a combined $14.1 million from the sale of Andean shares on-market.

In notices to the local stock exchange, non-executive director Mr Hume said he had sold 4.9 million shares Andean shares to pocket more than $11.7 million.

Meantime director Warren Gilmour pocketed $2.35 million from the sale of 1 million Andean shares on-market.

Shares in Andean closed down 10 cents to $2.30 today and had a market capitalisation of $1.06 billion.

The company is currently advancing its Cerro Negro gold project in Argentina.
