Big Belly Bus expands

BIG Belly Bus Caterers has relaunched following its purchase for an undisclosed sum in June by All Venues and Encore Hospitality managing director Nigel Claydon.

Mr Claydon now manages and owns all three companies through parent companies Djarat Enterprises and Gufchoy Pty Ltd.

All Venues, which has been operating for 11 years, mainly caters to Perth’s southern suburbs, while Encore Hospitality’s clients include the Perth Concert Hall, His Majesty’s Theatre, The Playhouse Theatre and the Subiaco Theatre Centre.

Mr Claydon said BBB would soon gain a full liquor license following extensive staff training.

BBB has gained access to All Venues’ hospitality equipment, worth around $500,000, and it’s own 200-person function room “Touch of Elegance” at 150 Adelaide Terrace, Perth.

All Venues won the Offsite Full Service Catering and Offsite Food Only Catering categories in the 2000 Restaurant and Catering Industry Awards, in addition to Mr Clayton winning the Consultant of the Year category.

BBB will enter its 25th year in 2001.
